Three pillars. Five lessons. One way forward.
Each lesson is a real piece of the WOW University curriculum — a title, a takeaway, and one action to do today. This is how the work starts.
01
Withstand
The Barefoot Breakthrough
When the house burned a week before Christmas 2001, I stood barefoot in the snow in pajama shorts and watched everything I owned turn to ash. The dogs didn't make it. I had nothing — no shoes, no wallet, no plan. Just the decision to take the next breath, then the next step. That's Withstand: you don't need resources to rise. You need the courage to walk anyway.
Do this today: Write down the one loss or setback you've been carrying like a weight. Name it out loud. Then write one sentence about what's still standing — because something always is.

Withstand
Your WOW Is Now
People wait for permission. They wait for the "right time," for the fear to go away, for someone to tap them on the shoulder and say it's okay. The fire taught me different: there is no later. The only moment you ever have is the one you're in. "Your WOW Is Now" isn't a slogan — it's the recognition that every delay is a decision to stay where you are.
Do this today: Identify the one ask you've been avoiding — the call, the conversation, the application, the price increase. Make that ask before you go to bed tonight. Not "plan to." Make it.

Own
The Burnt Book of Attitudes
A book survived the fire. Singed pages, smoke smell, but the words were still there. The attitudes written in it — the ones I chose before the flames — were the only things the fire couldn't take. That book sits on my desk today. The lesson: your mindset is the only asset that survives every storm. If the fire couldn't take my attitude, life won't take yours.
Do this today: Write three attitudes you refuse to let any circumstance burn out of you. Not goals — attitudes. Post them where you'll see them tomorrow morning.

Own
Own the Part That's Yours
After the fire, I rebuilt from the back of an office-supply store, sleeping on an employee's couch. I could've blamed the wiring, the builder, the insurance, God. Blame is easy — it's also useless. Ownership isn't about fault; it's about power. When you own your part in the story, you get to write the next chapter. When you don't, someone else writes it for you.
Do this today: Look at the situation frustrating you most. Find the 10% that's genuinely yours to move. Move it today. The other 90% will still be there tomorrow — but you'll be standing in a different place.

Win
Shoes You Haven't Earned Yet
You don't get the shoes first. You walk barefoot through the snow, through the ash, through the rebuild — and the shoes appear on the feet of the person you became by walking. The WOW Trilogy ends here: Win isn't the trophy. Win is the identity you earned by refusing to quit when you had every reason to. Some shoes aren't given — they're earned by the miles you walk barefoot.
Do this today: Picture the version of you who's already through this storm. What does that person do differently? Do one of those things today — not as "practice," but as proof.
